NMSU Analytics - How to use the Portal Navigation
This documentation provides users with step-by-step instructions on how to use Portal Navigation.
The Portal Navigation folder contains all the Cognos Legacy layout of the Legacy Portal tabs. The Portal Navigation content is the modern Analytics environment content, not the Cognos Legacy environment content.
To access Portal Navigation, follow steps below:
Step 1:
From the left side of your navigation pane, click on the Portal Navigation folder.
Step 2:
Next, click on the Tabs folder.
Step 3:
The Tabs folder has the previous Cognos Legacy portal tabs.
Step 4:
Next, click on Student.
Step 5:
Next, navigate to the new browser session tab named “IBM Cognos Viewer – Student.”
The Analytics content environment is displayed in the familiar layout the Cognos Legacy portal tabs.
Note: The Portal Navigation Cognos Legacy portal tabs will not be enhanced after migration to the go-live of Analytics.
Future enhancements will only be made in the Analytics content environment.
