Microsoft Office 365 - How to add your Microsoft 365 email to the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad
You can add Microsoft 365 email to the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad. Then you can send, receive, and organize emails.
Complete the steps below to add your Microsoft 365 to your mail app:
Step 1
Click on the Settings icon
located on the home-screen of your iPad or iPhone.


Step 2
Next, navigate downward through the Settings options and select Mail
.


Step 3
After selecting Mail, click Accounts.

Step 4
Under Accounts, select Add Account.

Step 5
After selecting Add Account, tap Microsoft Exchange and provide information for "Email" and "Description" fields.
Click Next after completing the fields.
Note: Use your "NMSU email" for the Email field.


Step 6
In the dialogue box display, select Sign In.

Step 7
Provide your "NMSU username and password/passphrase" in the following fields "Email" and "Password" then click Sign In.
Note: If your admin enabled two-factor authentication (2FA), verify your account or set up 2FA to proceed.

Step 8
Click Save to complete setup.
Note: that you can always come back and update settings at any time.

How to access your newly configured Mail:
Navigate to your iPhone/iPad home screen and click Mail
.


Next, Mail box options will be displayed, in the options list, select "your preferred Mail description."
