Canvas iOS - Viewing Grades via the Canvas app. on an iOS device
If you are a student and your instructor uses Canvas, you may view your grades in the Canvas app.
The images shown in this document are taken from an iPhone and unless otherwise noted an iOS tablet will mirror the same steps.
View Dashboard Grades
To view your course grade in the Dashboard Courses tab, tap the Grades icon.
View Course Grade
The overall grade for the course appears above the course title. Grades are shown according to the grading scheme for the course (percentage, GPA, letter grade, etc.).
To hide grades, tap the Grades icon again.
View Assignment Grades
You can also view grades for each individual assignment in your course.
In the Courses tab, tap the name of the course you'd like to view.
Open Grades
Tap the Grades link.
View Course Grades
Your total score appears at the top of the page [1]. If your course is using Multiple Grading Periods, your total score is the score for the current grading period. Otherwise, your total score is the overall score for the course. You can also filter grades by grading period [2].
If a grade has been awarded for an assignment, the assignment displays the score you have earned [3]. Ungraded assignments display a dash [4]. Assignments that are not graded display an N/A symbol.
View Assignment Details
To view the details of an assignment including any comments from your instructor, tap the assignment name.
