myNMSU (Housing) - Apply for Housing

If you would like to move into campus housing the first step in this process is to fill out a housing application through your myNMSU portal.

To complete a housing application follow the steps below:

Step 1:
The Access MyHousing link will take you to the myNMSU portal where you will need to enter your credentials (username and password) and click Sign In

Step 2:
Once the myNMSU homepage loads navigate to the Student tab (at the top left of the screen) and click. Now navigate to the center of your screen under Banner Self Service and click on the link titled MyHousing. This will open you MyHousing portal in a new page.

Step 3:
After the MyHousing portal page loads navigate to the Application menu at the top of the page and click on it to expand. Here you will need to select the Housing Application that applies to you.

Step 4:
Once you have selected your option, you will need to review the terms of the agreement and sign at the bottom. Once this is done please click Continue. The next screen will have a number of application questions that you will need to complete and press Continue

Step 5:
Select your housing option and click Continue. Select your meal plan and click Continue. You will then be directed to pay the application and housing deposit fee. Your application will not be complete until the payment is submitted. 
Note: If you close out of the application before completing it, you will need to re-apply.
