macOS - Connect to NMSU Eduroam Roaming Wireless Network
The "Eduroam" wireless network is a secure roaming service that can be used on the NMSU campus as well as other participating Universities. Once you have successfully connected to Eduroam, here at NMSU, you will be able to connect to this roaming service while visiting participating University locations.
The screenshots that are displayed in this document are from a Mac running the Mojave OS.
Step 1:
To begin, navigate to the top menu bar and click on the Wi-Fi icon to expand and see available networks that you can connect. From this menu select eduroam.

Step 2:
Once you click on "eduroam" a connection window will open. From this menu there are three criteria that you will need to ensure are selected or entered correctly,

Mode: Here please ensure that Automatic is selected
Note: This is the default.
Username: Here you will need to enter your full NMSU email address.
Password: Here you will need to enter the Passphrase that you use to log into myNMSU.
Note: Before you click Join you can also select the box to "Remember this network". This will ensure that when you visit another location that supports eduroam that you will be able to connect.
Step 3:
Click Join to complete and connect to eduroam.
