my.NMSU- Registering for Class
This document provides users with instructions on how to register for classes at NMSU
The instructions provided below guides and provides users with steps on how to register for classes.
Step 1:
Log in to your my.NMSU account.

Step 2:
Once you have logged in to your my.NMSU account, navigate to the top left of the menu bar and select the Student tab.

Step 3:
After clicking on the Student tab you will be redirected to the the Quick Links pane. Under the Quick Links pane select Registration.

Step 4:
This will redirect you to the "Registration term." Then click on the drop down arrow to access term options.
Select Submit after you have chosen registration term.


Step 5:
After selecting term, navigate down, under the "Registration" pane, and select Add or Drop Classes.
Read Terms and Conditions. Click inside the check box to accept, then select CLICK TO PROCEED.


Step 6:
Next, navigate to the button of the Add drop class and select Search Class tab.

Step 7:
Select and provide information for all "required/necessary fields," then click on Section Search at the bottom of the display screen.

Step 8:
Next, select preferred course/s by clicking "inside the check box/es".
Note: C descriptions indicates courses which has been closed
The empty check box/es indicates course you can still register for.

Step 9:
After selecting course/s, by checking box/es, you then click on the Register button located at the button left corner of the display screen.
