Office 365 (Outlook 2016 for Mac) Configuring Outlook 2016 desktop application for Mac OS X
How to configure the Outlook desktop client on Mac OS.
Download the Outlook Application from your Apple App Store. After the download is complete continue to the next step.
Note: This is a paid application as of February 2018 for the cost of $4.99.
Once the application is launched you will be prompted to setup your account. Continue to the window that has the option to Add Account and move to the next step.
After clicking on the Add Account button you will be given several options for the type of account you want to add. Choose the Exchange or Office 365 option and continue.
The next window will prompt you to enter your myNMSU email and password and click Add Account.
Note: Please enter your full NMSU email in both the "E-Mail address" box and the "User name" box as well.
The final box to appear will ask you to "Always use my response for this server" click the open box in the bottom left corner and click Allow.
Congratulations you have successfully setup your outlook mailbox.
