WordPress - Adding new Pages
Adding a new page to WordPress is very similar to adding a new post; however, pages differ from posts in that they function as static features, do not use tags or categories, and often serve as the "parent" location for different information or posts. Posts and pages work in conjunction to produce a fully functional WordPress site.
- Navigate to the sidebar along the left side of the screen and select Pages > Add New.
- Start your page by adding a title in the Enter title here (1) box. The next box is the Text Editor (2) box.
- Write or paste the content you would like displayed on your page.If you would like to view what your page would look like published, click the Preview button in the top right corner. If you are happy with the way your page appears, select the blue Publish button to make it available to the public. If you would like to take a break and resume editing later, select the Save Draft button.
