NMSU - Network Registration

How to register your machine on the NMSU network. By going through this process, you will be able to obtain an Internet Protocol (IP) address for your computer for locations on campus where you wish to be able to connect to the internet. After completing these steps, you will be able to go to different locations on campus and connect instantly to the correct internet settings for each location.

Most computers are already configured for DHCP. If you think that your computer's settings are not yet set up, click on the link for DHCP configuration instructions. If your computer is already configured, read the New Mexico State University Network Terms of Use to continue with Registration.

1. Network registration is only required when you are first connecting a new machine to the NMSU network and will begin after an internet connection is established. If you are trying to connect to the internet, please navigate here.

2. After connecting to an NMSU network, please open an internet browser of your choosing (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.). This will automatically redirect you to the registration page. If not, please visit here.

3. Once at the registration page, please read through NMSU's Network Terms of Use, select the I Accept option and observe the next step.
