NMSU Library - Database Guides

The NMSU library website provides access to several databases for research and academic purposes.

This document is a brief overview of the Guides available through the NMSU library website to assist student and faculty with research as well as other academic purposes. 

Step 1:
Open your web browsers and type "lib.nmsu.edu" into the search bar and press enter. 

Step 2:
Navigate to the "Guides" tab found in the center of the page and click. There will be a search bar displayed and a link below it titled "More Search Options", please click on this option.

Step 3:
The next page will display the four guide types that are available for navigation.

Course Guide Tab:
Click on the first tab for access to individual courses and their correlating materials and resources.

General Purpose Tab:
The next link is categorized as "General Purpose" and provides links to more specific subjects as well as links to content correlated with each subject.

Subject Guide Tab:
The "Subject Guide" tab provides resources for individual subjects of academic inquiry.

Topic Guide Tab:
The final tab titled "Topic Guide" provides links to more specific tools that a student or instructor may need from the subject headings that are featured.
