Microsoft Teams - Introduction
Microsoft Teams is a chat-based workspace in Office 365 that's a hub for teamwork. It's extensible and customizable, so you can tailor it to the information your team needs. Microsoft Teams supports flexible communication, including chats, calls, meetings, and private and group conversations. Get your team up and running on Microsoft Teams by creating a new team and adding team members and channels to it.

Get your team up and running on Microsoft Teams by creating a new team and adding team members and channels to it. Create a new team In Teams, select Create team at the bottom-left of the screen. Enter a name and short description for your team. Select Create team. Enter a team member’s name, and select them from the picker. You can also add a group of people by entering an email alias, security list, or Outlook group. Select Done. Create a channel for your team Select Select Add channel. Enter a name and short description for your channel. Select Add. next to the team name.
