Microsoft Word - Save Documents in PDF and Other Formats
Save your documents in the format that works best for you. Choose from a PDF, plain text, rich text, or even a webpage.
Note: These steps are for a PC. If you're using a tablet or phone, see Save a PDF of your file on your mobile device. Save your document as a PDF Select File > Export. Select Create PDF/XPS. Select Publish. Word creates the PDF and opens it. Select a different file format Select File > Export. Select Change File Type, and select a file type. Select Save As. Browse to the folder where you want to save the file. Enter a name for the file, and select Save. Note: You might be warned that changing the file type may cause formatting, pictures, and other objects in your document to be lost. Select OK.Want more?
