Amazon Echo - Reset Your Echo Show Device

If your Echo device is unresponsive or you want to give your device to someone else, you can reset the device in the Settings.

Important: Do not reset or turn off your device if you are setting it up for the first time.
If you're having trouble with your device, restart your device first to see if it resolves your problem. To restart your device, unplug the power adapter from the back of the device or from the wall outlet. Then plug the power adapter back in.

To reset your device:

  1. Say, "Go to settings," or swipe down from the top of the screen and select Settings.
  2. Select Device Options.
  3. Select Reset to Factory Defaults. This erases all your personal information and settings on the device.

Once the device resets, it begins the setup process.
