Microsoft Edge - Read books in the browser

No need to lug heavy books on your vacations anymore–just head to Microsoft Store to buy e-books and then read them in Microsoft Edge. To get started, select Hub, then select Books > Get Books. E-books bought from Microsoft Store are kept in the Hub and you can read them offline.

Any free e-books you open from the web (in .epub format) will automatically open in Microsoft Edge. Add these to your reading list to come back to them later. If you can download them to your PC, they'll be available offline.

Make it your own

With your e-book open, click or tap anywhere on the page and select Options to adjust the font size, style, spacing, and page theme to suit your reading style. Whipping up dinner from a cookbook? Select Read aloud and your browser will read the recipe to you and highlight the words so you can follow along.
