Norton (Mac) - Message: "Free update to High Sierra Support" or "Update to stay protected"
If your Norton for Mac subscription is eligible for a free upgrade, Norton displays an alert to upgrade to the latest version that is compatible with the new macOS 10.13.x High Sierra.
Do the following to upgrade Norton:
In the update alert window, click
.If you have closed the update alert window, start your Norton product, and then click
in the main window.In the Software Update window, click .
Type your administrator password and then click
.Norton Update Agent uninstalls the older version of Norton product that is currently installed on your Mac.
When the uninstall finishes, click
.After you restart your Mac, in the Software Update window, click .
When the installation finishes, click
.After you restart your Mac, your Norton product displays a Registration alert to complete the registration. Click .
In the Norton product Subscription window, type your Norton account password, and then click .
If you do not have a Norton account, click
, and complete the sign-up process
You now have the latest version of your Norton product installed on your Mac.
