Cicso 8841 - Put a Call on Hold
This document will assist users in using the Hold function on their 8800 series Cisco phones.
Hold a Call
To place a call on hold while on the call:
- Press the HOLD button or press the HOLD soft key on the display.
To retrieve a held call:
- Press the Resume soft key.
- If multiple calls are on hold, use the Navigation button to select the desired call before you press the Resume soft key.
- If multiple calls on multiple lines are on hold, press the line button for the line that you want to pick-up.
Note: When switching to another line while multiple calls are on hold your active call with automatically be placed on hold when you pick-up another line.
